Southeastern FBO – Owner Motivated to Sell
Price has been reduced on this excellent opportunity to acquire an established Fixed Base Operation with two (2) regional locations in the Southeastern US. After 25 years, owner is motivated to sell immediately.
Primary Location: The primary location is the sole operation on the Airport and is home to several (on-airport) major aviation manufacturers. Annual fuel sales in 2011 and 2012 ranged from 650,000 to 700,000 gallons annually and include a mix of corporate (transient) operators, based corporations, military, and a regional air carrier. The airport features a newly expanded 8,000′ runway with several instrument approaches.
Expanded military operations are planned for March of 2013 through August of 2013 with an increase of approximately 20,000 gallons per week.
Facilities are included in the FBO Lease/Operating Agreement and include a 2,500 s.f. FBO Terminal building, a 2,500 s.f. hangar, and an additional 6,400 s.f. hangar. Exclusive use of the on-airport fuel storage facility is part of the agreement as well. 7 years remaining on current agreement, airport has agreed to grant a new 20-year agreement to an approved buyer.
Secondary FBO: The second operation is located at a smaller airport that primarily serves general aviation and supports a well-known university. Annual fuel volumes average 50,000 gallons Jet/Avgas. Facilities include a leased 7,600 s.f. hangar and beautiful fuel storage facility (both included in the lease/operating agreement). City is willing to renew the 5-year FBO agreement for new buyer.
Sale includes a Part 135 certificate and a Cessna 172 (2000 model) that is currently operating on the certificate.
